I too cannot afford to travel to Germany just for a few songs, i really hope there is some sort of tour accross europe / the uk.

I am so far disappointed at this comeback, why are there no videos? promotion etc? a real shame in my opinion, why all this big build up and then everything just goes quiet!

from my limited german translation i keep hearing things are going on behind the scene? but what are these things, they dont seem to be materialising.

Standard AW: Jenny Open Air

Hey folks,

I will answer in English, so everyone can understand. I'm also a bit disappointed by the fact, that she will show up for just a few songs in Güstrow. Although I assume that it isn't her fault at all. I deeply hope that she will do more than just half an hour. Perhaps I'm lucky, who knows. I have thought about booking a hotel room for a few days, cause it's an huge effort for just a few songs indeed. On the other hand - I've never seen her live and I so want it!

Actually I'm so keen on this little concert because I really doubt that there will be a real tour. Therefore the sales of the CD are just not enough, I fear. Today musicians don't get a tour, if they don't sale. Even so called "Superstars" of German casting shows, who even had a no. 1 in Germany, aren't able to go on a real tour. And as I remember, Jenny said in one of the recent interviews that she wants a real big show and that she doesn't want to do concerts an small stages without show elements and stuff. I'm very afraid that she won't get such an opportunity. Unfortunately she isn't as famous as she needed to be for that.

It breaks my (musical) heart to say - for the music industry and most of the people she isn't that superstar anymore. That's why I think Güstrow is my only chance to see her live in northern Germany - at least for this year. And that's why I'm going to be there.

So long

PS: My words are no offense at Jenny or their fans at all. It's just my realistic point of view concerning music industry. There is no doubt that Jenny deserves so much more than that!!!

As theres plenty of festivals in all European countries, from Iceland to Cyprus, I hope her representative will contact those and book her. They will not ask for her, especially as the album is completely unheard of in most countries. She really deserves to be seen outside of Germany as well.

I do not understand why Sony has produced such a good modern album just to not promote it properly in a modern way at all.

I get the feeling that Sony (which has become famous for ruining old stars careers in later years) are stuck in their old ways and ideas and just havent got much clue on how they need to do things nowasays. I feel sorry for Jennifer, but well... she also needs to push the company personally I guess.

I know how it is, as Im also under a record contract.
