For the past months I’ve been working hard on my new song material and already recorded some of it in the Olympic Studios in London. As of now we have completed and mixed four songs and four more are already written and ready to be recorded. I’m very pleased with the results and my great new team has really picked up the steam for a 2008 release. So what’s done already is one very beautiful ballad and one very uptempo dance number. It's always hard to describe a song when you are singing it or even writing it, but that one reminds of Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” which you all know, of course. The other two tracks that are finished - I want to surprise you with and see what you think about them. I love them all. And hope you will too. It has been so much fun and exciting to finally see that my new release is finally closer than ever!!!!! Love to you all, Jenny xxxx”

STONGHOLD COVERS & EXCLUSIVE SOUND SNIPPET!

The announcement of the "STRONGHOLD" box set has caused a sensation in many internet forums and online shops. Critics are fantastic and it seems there is a bestseller on its way!

STRONGHOLD - TRACKLISTING CONFIRMED!

It was thrilling right up until the very deadline, but keeping the fingers crosses paid off in the end. Some tracks planned to be on the upcoming CD box set got confirmed virtually in the very last minute!

So luckily "Stronghold" will not only include ALL Jennifer Rush singles >from 1982 to 1991 plus several favourite album tracks, but a total of 16 extended versions, 15 songs that are being released on CD for the first time ever and last but not least FIVE totally unreleased tracks!

CD 1 and 2 will feature the hit singles (in extended versions if existent) plus handpicked album songs while CD 3 holds the rarities and "precious ones". Next to the two Heidi Stern songs, two non album B sides, the rare "Another Way" and all four Spanish recordings from Sony times, we're over the moon to announce that for the first time ever Jennifer Rush's studio recordings of four James Bond movie theme songs will be released! You may have noticed them in our RELEASES section, but "Goldfinger", "The Man With The Golden Gun", "For Your Eyes Only" and "Thunderball" remained unpublished. Until now! These recordings from February 1984 are considered the most rare Jennifer Rush material to date.

And as a totally unexpected surprise CD 3 will also include an exclusive 2007 club remix of "I Come Undone" by DJ Dave Kurtis! This is truly a sensation!

NEW 3 CD box set from SONY/BMG!

For the past two months SONY/BMG and Thommy of JR.C have been working on a very special and exciting project which we can exclusively reveal here on JR.C for the first time. SONY's "Hit Box" from 2002 is going to be replaced by a new backcatalogue 3 CD box set for which Jennifer Rush and Thommy have not only picked the biggest hits and personal favourites of Jennifer, but also plan to release many rarities on CD for the first time. All "extended versions" ever produced are planned to be included as well as two non-album B-Sides "Give Out" and "Witch Queen Of New Orleans" plus the two songs Jennifer released as Heidi Stern in the very early days of her career. Furthermore the soundtrack ballad "We Are The Strong" will be featured on a Jennifer Rush best-of compilation for the first time as well as "Till I Loved You", her outstanding duet with Placido Domingo, which has only once been on a best-of CD in the UK.

Of course it was originally intended to include hits and rarities from Jennifer Rush's EMI/Virgin years as well, but unfortunately this wasn't possible due to license reasons - most likely because EMI just released its own "Jennifer Rush - Essential"-compilation. But the Sony years alone provide lots of brillant material. There are still some surprises in stock, for example some unreleased songs which will hopefully find their way on this CD box set, so make sure you check JR.C again very soon to find out the confirmed tracklisting!

To find a title and name for this CD collection Thommy suggested "Stronghold", because that is not only a secret favourite Jennifer Rush song of many fans, but was also planned to become a single back 1987. The word "Stronghold" stands for believing in something, holding onto something, so it seemed very appropriate as a motto title for this CD box which represents a main part of Jennifer Rush's career as well as her early years. Jennifer told us she always loved the song "Stronghold" a lot, so we're proud to announce that the CD box will be called "Stronghold - The Collectors Hit Box" and the cover artwork can already be seen here:

The release date will be August 31st 2007 already, so mark your calendars!

WELCOME TO LONDON, JENNIFER RUSH!

After living in New York City right at Central Park for many years Jennifer Rush and her daughter Ariel who just turned 13 moved to Europe in August. They’re now living in London / UK in a very beautiful apartment with great terraces and a wonderful view on the City of London and the river Thames. “I wanted to do this for a long time and we’re really enjoying this” she says. “We found such a great school for my daughter here, so it was the right decision and I’m happy to be here”. Jennifer Rush used to live in Europe before, starting her career in Munich / Germany, so she is no stranger to European mentality. “It’s good to be back, feels like coming home in a way”.
